LIFE , FOOTBALL , INDIA ! ! ! !
Life is football or football is life,
that I can't really decide and
I would leave that to you to surmise.
It only takes a few minutes for people
to realize,that patriotism in their hearts
is kicking and alive.

One goal is his "Renaissance",
for yesterday he was called a "Has been".
As Zidane soars and Ronaldinho mourns,
frenzy is there for all to see with our eyes.
Now I feel that life isn't fair,
as I watch greatest of players disappear,
Fire in their hearts still burning alive,
but their chance to perform has come and gone by.

Players stake their claim at immortality,
by divulging to us their innate talent on field.
They want to be named along with
" PELE and MARADONA"
And the stage called world cup is for all to see.

Being in india I watch live games at midnight
and catapult with joy as other nations rejoice !
Conscientiously I feel sorry for Brazil
and Argentina,
But my biggest regret is Indian team missing
from the arena.I hope one day our team will
be playing real high and winning the world cup
is a dream we'll realize.

Meanwhile,It's 2:30 at night and the match is finished,
So I'd better go and get a good sleep at night.
In my sleep I dreamt of playing for my country,
Was about to score a goal but it turned out otherwise.
It felt like a red card but soon I realize ,
it was my dearest mommy waking me up at 11:05.
